Handgun Cleaning Kit .44/.45 Caliber Parts Fit in Handle Easy Portability Fits Barrels to 8 3/8" IMPORTANT! Make sure the gun is not loaded. Remove clips, empty magazine, cylinders and chambers in accordance with owner's manual. Check bore for obstructions. For Light Cleaning: 1. Attach jag or bore mop. Insert cleaning patch or bore mop saturated with Break Free CLP and pass through barrel to remove loosened fouling and residue. 2. Saturate brush with Break Free CLP and pass through the barrel 5-10 times to remove fouling and leading. 3. Remove brush, attach bore mop saturated in Break Free CLP and pass through the barrel 5-10 times or until clean. For Heavier Cleaning: 1. Attach jag or bore mop. Insert cleaning patch or bore mop saturated with Break Free CLP and pass through barrel to remove loosened fouling and residue. 2. Saturate brush with KleenBore No. 10 Solvent or Copper Cutter and pass through the barrel 5-10 times to remove fouling and leading. 3. Attach jag to rod. Drape a patch soaked in KleenBore No. 10 Solvent or Copper Cutter over jag and pass it through the barrel 5-10 times. Repeat with dry patch until clean. 4. Remove jag, attach bore mop lightly covered with Break Free and pass through the barrel to lubricate and protect the bore.
